Open Air Learning is based out of and currently operates in Nanaimo, BC, on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Snuneymuxw people. We deeply respect and honour their enduring relationship with this land, of which they have been stewards and protectors for countless generations.
We recognize that the land is not simply a backdrop for our activities but a living part of Indigenous heritage. Our work is guided by the understanding that the land itself is a teacher, deeply intertwined with the rich histories and vibrant cultures of those who have lived here.
