Open Air Learning, offers a variety of programs designed to engage children of all ages. Our programs are crafted to inspire curiosity, foster independence, and cultivate a deep connection to the natural world. Each program is tailored to meet the developmental needs and interests of different age groups, providing a balanced mix of adventure, exploration, and learning. 

 

Forest School (Ages 4 – 9)

Forest School focuses on sensory-rich, play-based learning in a natural environment. Children spend their days outdoors, engaging in unstructured play, guided nature walks, and creative activities that stimulate their curiosity and support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. The program encourages children to develop independence, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of belonging to the natural world.

Outdoor Learning Program (Ages 4-12)

The Outdoor Learning Program is for children ages 3 to 12 who are looking for more structured outdoor learning experiences. This program combines adventure with environmental education, children learn about local ecosystems, wildlife, and sustainability while developing teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking skills. The program is designed to allow for learning in the great outdoors, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of nature.

 

Unique Learning Days

Unique Learning Days are designed to inspire creative thinking and innovation through one-of-a-kind educational experiences. These days feature special themes and activities that challenge children to think outside the box and explore new ideas. From imaginative problem-solving tasks to creative art projects inspired by nature, Unique Learning Days provide opportunities for children to engage in hands-on, interdisciplinary learning. Each day is crafted to spark curiosity, encourage experimentation, and foster a love of discovery.

 

Teen Connections

Is a space for teens to build friendships, explore interests, and develop leadership skills in a supportive, outdoor setting. Whether through adventure-based activities, skill-building workshops, or meaningful discussions, teens connect, grow, and have fun together.

Worldschooling Community Pop-up Hubs

Bring traveling families together for connection, learning, and adventure. These hubs offer a welcoming space where kids can make friends, engage in hands-on activities, and explore the world alongside like-minded peers.
